I am a USDF Bronze Medalist and the Jumping and Eventing Instructor at Four Rivers Sport Horse Centre in Paducah, Kentucky, through my company, HH Equine Dreams, LLC.  

 

My dad was a trainer and my mother competed in both Hunter and the big International Jumper Classes (now Grand Prix) - that is them in the lower left and my mother's beautiful bay, Beethoven. I grew up in their commercial stables with 50+ boarders and 29 class-horses, riding 3-8 hours a day, teaching classical riding, showing Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing and Fox Hunting. When I left for college, I had no clue that I would not compete again for another 30 years as my competition horse passed away and then life and a career took over. In 2014, I gave birth to my second child (24 years after my first) and life came full circle. I gave up my career and dove head first back into horses!

I was fortunate enough to retrain for almost four years in Northern Ohio with a five star Eventer and who was short listed for the Canadian Olympic Eventing Team. He reenforced the excellent foundation that my parents had earlier provided and he also gave me the opportunity to train and teach under his tutelage.

Fast forward to the fall of 2018 ... with three horses in tow, I came to visit my mother in Southern Illinois for a month and boarded my horses at Four Rivers Sport Horse Centre. Right before I was set to head home, she was involved in a horrific car accident. I was fortunate that Four Rivers had room to continue boarding my horses and cared for them full time while I helped my mother recover. In 2019, I sold my Ohio house and bought one in Paducah, Kentucky, as Cathie brought me on as an Instructor to build a Jumping / Eventing Program to complement her already excellent Dressage Program.
